Volunteer Activity – We will be doing some sort of construction on a home near the center, such as painting, lawn work, framing, etc.

Location – The address and project details will be emailed to the group at least one business day before the scheduled date of March 25^th.

Time – 8:30 AM to 3 PM Saturday, March 25^th. Can run shorter, depends on the job.

Volunteers Needed – 8 volunteers needed – All volunteers must be at least 16 years old and complete a wavier form. You will be prompted to complete the waiver when registering online and you must bring the waiver with you on the date of the event.

Notes – Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get messy. We provide a cooler with water – please have members of your group bring a water bottle and any snacks they’d like. Also, lunch is from 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM and is on your own.

 

Hunger Fight

Volunteer Activity – Sorting books for preschool children to enhance emergent literacy skills

Kim’s Open Door – GOYA Activity

Volunteer Activity – Working with ESOL students on education, arts and nutrition

Time – Saturday, March 25^th from 9:30 to 12:30

Orthodox Christian Mission Center (OCMC) Young Adult Volunteers

Volunteer Activity – We will be helping OCMC out with beautifying the property of OCMC including laying out mulch, trimming trees, planting flowers and other landscaping needs.

Location – 220 Mason Manatee Way, St. Augustine, FL 32086

Time – Saturday, March 25^th from 11:30 to 1:30

Volunteers Needed: Young Adults 18 – 35

 

Church Activities

We will be packing Homeless Kits, making calls and cards for our Share the Light Ministry, Writing letters for Orthodox Prison Ministry, Knitting and Crocheting Prayer Shawls, Working as part of the Garden Ministry and JOY and HOPE service stations.
