GOYA
GOYA
GOYA (Greek Orthodox Youth of America) is our youth group for all middle and high school students (6th-12th grade.) The purpose of GOYA is to develop the Christian Orthodox faith, friendship, and way of life among parish youth by engaging them in fun and meaningful activities.
Philanthropy is a big part of who we are. GOYA focuses on helping others by serving breakfast to the homeless at the Clara White Mission, hosting blood drives, and holding a bake sale in November to buy Christmas gifts for refugee families.
GOYA connects the youth of our Church and other Orthodox Churches throughout the southeast with routine social events, summer camps, retreats, and is a great place to make friends that share your values.
From participating in the Winter Youth Rally-a basketball, volleyball, and Bible Bowl tournament (where our GOYA won 2nd place in Bible Bowl out of 40+ teams!) to game nights in the GOYA room, we’re constantly moving and having fun! Coming soon- a co-ed volleyball team!
We’d love to have your middle/high school child join us. For more information on GOYA, please reach out to Michele Megas at [email protected].
