Homeschool Ministry

The SJTD Homeschool Ministry is a group of Orthodox Christian families that pursue or plan on pursuing home education. It seeks to provide support and fellowship through planned group activities, shared resources, educational field trips, and park play dates.  

The Ministry plans on having activities every first Friday of the month. This may vary for special feasts/ occasions and field trips. Previous activities include Pumpkin Farm Visit at Conner’s A-maize-ing Farms, St Augustine and St Photios Shrine Field Trip, St Lucia Baking Activity, and park meetups around Jacksonville. 

The Ministry also meets up with other Orthodox Christian Homeschoolers from other Churches in the area.
